SatLink will dedicate 150m2 from its facilities for AMOS-5’s satellite management operations, including offices and the satellite’s Master Control Room premises.

Channel One Russia Worldwide and SatLink Communications Ltd. announced today that Russia’s most popular TV station has selected SatLink to provide broadcasting services to the Asia-Pacific region. Today a partnership between SatLink Communications Ltd. and Israeli restaurateur and businessman Jowdat Ibrahim created the world’s largest plate of Hummus, the Middle Eastern delicacy at 4090 kilograms. Loaded onto a six-meter satellite dish provided by SatLink, the event brought together food aficionados and an official adjudicator from the Guinness World Records organization to Abu Gosh, a village located outside of Jerusalem. SatLink, sponsors of the record-breaking event, and Ibrahim of Abu Gosh unveiled the world’s largest hummus platter, consisting of three tons of chickpeas blended with one ton of tehina paste, and over 5,000 pita breads with which to scoop up the delicacy.
