Our technical team is well versed in all market leading remote playout systems so we are able to handle all your needs.

Our on-site, fully automated, fully redundant playout facilities are based on the leading Harris D Series, v4 system. The sophisticated system supports logo insertions, multi subtitling and audio dub insertion, various graphic systems and enables 24/7 operation and monitoring of pre-produced content. We also deploy is a Masstech digital archive system for nearline storage.

Broadcasters originating their channels at our Playout facilities include The National Geographic Channel, Jetix, ESPN, Hop! and Luli, among others.

Added Value Broadcast Services

SatLink’s facilities offer added value services for broadcasters including:

• Channel time-delay
• Commercial insertion to Playout - Live broadcast insertion using Satlink’s global satellite and fiber network
• Encryption services (Conditional Access) using Irdeto and Viaccess encryption systems, or BISS. We can host the client’s own encryption system at our fully redundant facilities.
