Satlink's HD Playout center originates managed HD (High Definition) and SD (standard definition) feeds for global distribution. Our fully redundant and automated HD Playout center complements Satlink's production, transmission and distribution services and offers a ‘One Stop Shop’ for international broadcasters requiring high quality end-to-end media delivery solutions.  
 
The Center offers state of the art services for content management, digital archival, content localisation, digitalization, disaster recovery, over the top and additional related services.  
 
The well trained team and infrastructure of the Play out Center supports the needs of International and Israeli customers as Disney, National Geographic, MGM, NTV-MIR, E! Entertainment, ESPN, The History Channel and others.
 
The HD Playout center is connected to SatLink’s state-of-the-art teleport facilities via fully redundant SDH based fibres from two different suppliers using different routes to ensure fully backed up global content distribution over satellite, fibre or IP communication channels.
 
Customers have the choice of opting for a fully managed server based, remotely controlled, hosted, or co-located service to manage the Playout and distribution of content. They can also configure their features remotely.
The HD Playout center is co located at leading television production complex including 4 studios and post production facilities.

Disaster recovery
 
The Center is located underground to ensure maximum disaster recovery capabilities and is connected to SatLink’s state-of-the-art teleport facilities via fully redundant SDH based fibres from two different suppliers using different routes.  The teleport is also backed up via  fibers with other teleports in Europe.
